Trigger your livechat

Notify in chatbot options

When you Build your chatbot, you can add options with the purpose of having live chat conversations with the user of your website

To trigger a conversation using one of the options, first, you have to select at what point would you like to be notified.

Keep in mind that if you ask to be notified too late, the user might be bored of waiting and dropping off.

1.Select the question you want to be notified at

2. Go to "Show advanced settings" under the options and select the "Livechat Team" that you want to notify on that option

You can edit your teams and the way they are notified under "Teams" in the "Account" tab of Your Dashboard

3. Activate the "notify team" option.

4. (optional) If you want to hide the live chat option when your team is offline, you can do so in the "Show/hide when team online" box

Notify in the "write reply" box



To be notified once the user starts to write in the "write reply" box, talk with our Customer Success team

Notify from Every interaction

To be notified of every interaction you must go to the "livechat settings", under the settings tab in your chatbot, and activate the "Notify from every interaction" option

Remember to tag the team you want to notify under "Default Team ID"

You can get the Team ID under "Account" and "Team"

Hide the live chat button if the team is online/offline



If you want to hide the live chat option when your team is offline, you can do so in the "Show/hide when team online" box
